The joint Kings Rebels Player of the Match Dave Bloomfield hit an 11 dart 1st leg in a 2-0 win to give his team the lead. Andy Rowe levelled the match with a 2-1 win before the other joint Kings Rebels Player of the Match Stuart Lake restored his teams lead with a 2-1 win. The Waterbridge Player of the Match Martin Matthews levelled the match for a second time with a 2-0 win and Malcolm Wills hit a 16 dart 1st leg in a 2-0 win to put Waterbridge in front. Craig Stanbury then put Waterbridge a game from victory with a 2-0 win in the remaining singles game.
Nigel Penny & Craig Stanbury secured the match for Waterbridge with a 2-1 win in the first of the pairs. Martin Matthews hit a 180 in the 1st leg but finished on the losing pairing as Stuart Lake & Dave Bloomfield kept the Kings Rebels in with a chance of a bonus point with a 2-0 win. They fell just short however as the final game went to Waterbridge when Dave Sims hit a 180 in the 2nd leg as he and partner Malcolm Wills took a 2-0 win.

The Kings Rebels Player of the Match Megan Bloomfield hit a 17 dart 1st leg and a 17 dart 3rd leg in a 2-1 win to level the match. Nick Tamlin hit a 12 dart 2nd leg in a 2-1 win to restore the Upton Pyne lead. Steve Macefield put Upton Pyne a game from victory with a 2-1 win in the remaining singles game.

The Half Moon Player of the Match Nathan Skinner hit a 15 dart 1st leg in a 2-0 win over Sid Wood to halve the deficit. Paul Dart hit a 13 dart 1st leg in a 2-0 win to restore the Witheridge two game lead. Steve Cockram then put them a game from victory with a 2-1 win and Pete Cole secured the match for Witheridge with a 2-1 win.
A 2-0 win for Chris Atherton & Eddie Yeandle in the first of the pairs gave the Half Moon a chance of the bonus point but this disappeared when Ralph Brown & Steve Cockram won 2-1. The final game went to the Half Moon with a 2-1 win for Pete Andrews jnr & Nathan Skinner.

The old Plymouth Inn A team are now at the Mitre and are sorry but they are unable to do food at the end of the darts. If other teams do not want to do food when the Mitre play away then the team are okay with this.
Red Lion, Tedburn St Mary.
The League was founded in 1989 by Dave Ward and Derek Farley. Among the founder teams were Newton Rec and Upton Pyne who have played every season since. Another founder team was the Red Lion at Tedburn St Mary. The Red Lion left the league a couple of times but came back each time with different players. A lot of you will remember the last incarnation of the team. Led at times by Adrian Squire, Hugh Griffiths and Darren Vine they were a difficult team to beat but the evenings against them were always enjoyable. It was a great disappointment to the League when the Red Lion closed down and the team left. It was therefore pleasing to hear that the community of Tedburn St Mary are hoping to save the pub and get it back into action. We wish them all the best with their endeavour and hope to see them back in the League once more.
