I was more than pleased to see Pete Cann turn out for Morchard Club B this week. I remember firstly seeing Pete play more than forty years ago and he joined the Creedy Valley Darts League in its fourth season in the early nineties. A formidable player on his day and he showed on Thursday what he is capable of with a 117 shot out in the pairs. I look forward to meeting up with him again.
Caroline Snell would like it to be known that, while marking the final pairs game, she was not laughing whenever Bernie was throwing because he has new Buddy Holly glasses or a skinhead haircut. But because he had already scored three twice and each time he hit a one with the first dart she thought another one was coming and it started her laughing.
